A LITTLE KNOW-HOW

Find the safe way through.

01 · Open a little space

Reveal any covered square to begin. Your first square and its neighbors are mine-free. Empty areas open automatically; numbered squares give you clues.

02 · Mark what you know

Right-click or press F to place a flag. On touchscreens, turn on Flag mode, then tap. Flags are reminders, not proof. Reveal every safe square to win; you do not need to flag every mine.

03 · Let the numbers help

When a revealed number has the same number of flags around it, select it again to open the remaining neighbors. Incorrect flags can make this move hit a mine.

04 · Take your time

The timer starts on your first reveal. Pause hides the board and stops the clock. Switching tabs or leaving the game window pauses an active run. New game, difficulty changes, and refresh start over.

A few little answers.

Is every board solvable without guessing?

No. Boards are randomized with a safe first opening, but some positions may require a guess. This version does not promise no-guess puzzles.

How do I play a large board on a small screen?

The board scrolls horizontally when needed, keeping squares large enough to select. Arrow-key navigation also scrolls the focused square into view. Easy is a comfortable choice for a small Mini mode window.

Can I play offline or keep my progress?

Once this page has loaded, play needs no connection. Reloading offline is not supported. Refreshing starts a new board with a reset timer; progress is not stored.
